TG Terms of Service

By using TG Backup you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What TG Backup is
TG Backup saves a copy of your own Telegram contacts, handles, chat list and folders, and helps you restore them into a new Telegram account. It is an independent service. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram.
Your account and your responsibility
- Use it only with Telegram accounts that are yours, or that you are allowed to use.
- Keep the email address you saved your backup with secure. Whoever controls it can sign in and start a restore.
- Follow Telegram's own terms. We act on your behalf only when you ask us to.
Price
You see exactly what we saved before you pay. The price is a single payment: $99 for the first 50 customers, then $149 (or the discounted price shown at checkout). You always see the exact amount before you pay. It covers storing your backup until you delete it and restoring it as many times as you need. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Refunds
Because the backup is delivered straight away, payments are generally not refundable. If something on our side stops the service from working for you, email sean@tgbackup.xyz and we will make it right, including a refund where that is fair.
What a restore can and cannot do
Restoring depends on what Telegram allows. We re-add contacts using their Telegram username (we do not save phone numbers), rejoin public groups and channels, and recreate your folders. Telegram does not let us rejoin private chats for you. Those need an invite link from a member or admin, and we show you the list. Telegram also limits how fast contacts can be added and chats joined, so a large restore can take hours or longer. We cannot promise that every contact or chat comes back, and we show you what did not.
Keeping it available
We work hard to keep the service running and your backup safe, but we provide it as is and cannot guarantee it will always be available or that Telegram will keep working with it. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us.
Deleting your data
You can delete your backup and account at any time from your vault. We may delete an unpaid backup after 7 days. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for paying customers, email you.
